Well, here we are, back at home and getting into the routine of daily life. It's funny to be so far away, having such a unique experience and then suddenly, after a plane ride home, to be back in the familiar. It seems as though nothing has changed and we just slipped right back into life here. My hope is that I wouldn't slip into it TOO easily. I want to remember the simple but joyous life that I saw the people in St.Vincent live. Some have very little, but are content. I want to live with a servant heart like many of them do. They give their free time to others, using the skills that God has given them to help the community. I want to seek the passionate and devout faith that they show, giving their time, their energy, their money and their love to God and others. May I learn to not be so stingy with ALL that God has given me!!
If I could remember anything from this trip, I would want to remember how much love and kindness was shown to us by the people in St.Vincent, young and old alike. If others can love us that much, how much greater is God's love for us!! It is my hope that people who interact with me will find that they are madly loved. . . by me and by their Heavenly Father.
Now for some pictures :)
Here's that joyful attitude I mentioned

The servant heart and love for God
The love for others

"Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away." May you experience God's love for you in a powerful way this week. . . so much, that it takes your breath away!

Hey Julia!
Looks like you had an awesome trip and were definitely changed on the inside, even though 'ordinary' life sets back in...
Have a good week, take care, and God bless you continually..
