Destination: Toronto

I decided to extend my May long weekend this year and take a trip out to Toronto to do some visiting. I've travelled through Toronto many times before on my way to other places, but I've never given it the honour of being my destination of choice. This month, I did. It's big and it's face-paced, but it's a happening place to be! There was tons to see and do. Plus, it was more scenic than I expected. Lake Ontario is vast and beautiful, bringing nature right to the edge of the city.

I visited some of the city's famous landmarks like a good little tourist.

I looked down 1, 122 feet through the glass floor at the CN Tower to the miniature world below.

From that high up I could see how truly huge the city is. . .

I also got to spend some quality time with folks who are near and dear to my heart. . .

My cousin Tanit: Thanks for having my back during bomb detection! :)

Aliston: Thanks for the fine dining! :)

Jennelle: shoot 'em up, girl!

the moose: hands off!

and last, but not least, the crazy Dundas square dancing man!
(check out the video below this post)

My trip, of course, was not complete until. . .

finding larger-than life kitchen supplies (did you know there was such a thing as a 3-foot wisk?!)

trying on hats with a hole on the top (whose idea was that anyways?!)

and fearlessly riding the street car.

Well Toronto, I had fun visiting you! To everyone there. . . thanks for the hospitality!
Look out, I might come back!
